The Golden Generation

San Francisco’s Chinatown has been a thriving community in the city for generations, the first and oldest in the United States. The nickname “Gold Mountain” was given to the city by immigrants, which remains its name in Chinese to this day.

From those first immigrants, the community has continued on, producing a new generation of Americans who have fused their cultural heritage with their upbringings.

This new generation is marked by those who are excited to push the status quo. They welcome the challenge of taking on an unfamiliar path forward.
